Do's
- Before entering the protected forest area, obtain a proper permit from the forest check post located at Natiwad or Sankri.
- For tourist safety, it is necessary to hire a guide from a registered teleoperator agency before entering the protected forest area of Govind Wildlife Sanctuary/National Park Purola.
- At Forest Checkpost Natewad/Sankri, submit a copy of your ID proof while obtaining the permit. No tourist will be allowed to enter the protected forest area without an ID proof certificate.
- Enter the protected forest area only after depositing the entry fee as per rules at Forest Checkpost Natwad/Sankri and keep the fee receipt safe with you throughout the tour period.
- At Forest Check Post Natwad/Sankri, deposit a security deposit at the rate of Rs 50 per day, which will be refunded during the return.
- During the excursion, carry an adequate amount of warm clothes, ration, and first-aid kits.
- While traveling inside the protected forest area, follow the provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act 1972 as amended in 2006.
- Camp only at designated camp sites.
- Eat only vegetarian food inside protected forest areas.
- Be eco-friendly and use only eco-friendly items while visiting the area.
- Whenever any forest employee/officer asks you to show your permit, you must show your permit.
- Enjoy the beauty of nature without disturbing the local flora and fauna.
- Bring polythene and other non-biodegradable garbage out of the protected forest area and deposit it at the designated place.

- Do not enter the protected forest area without a permit.
- Do not enter the protected forest area without availing the services of a registered guide.
- Do not use polythene carry bags and wrappers.
- No poisonous, firearms and explosive substances of any kind will be allowed inside the protected forest area.
- Do not pitch tents outside the designated campsite.
- Do not burn wood for cooking and campfire. Do not leave burning beedis, cigarettes, or fire inside the park and sanctuary.
- Do not travel outside the track route.
- Do not use loud music systems or equipment that emits high light and do not make excessive noise during the trip.
- Do not pluck flowers and vegetation, and no permission will be given to take any kind of vegetation, plant parts (live/dead seeds, flowers, roots etc.) and geological samples from the park or sanctuary.
- Do not feed food to wild animals in parks and sanctuaries and do not leave any garbage inside the park.
- Do not disturb wild animals.
- Do not cause any damage to local plants.
- Do not eat non-vegetarian food inside the protected forest area.
- Will not contaminate water sources with man-made and kitchen waste.
- Do not erase the sign boards installed inside the parks and sanctuaries and do not write/paint anything on trees and tree branches/rocks/stones/departmental assets.
- Do not uproot/roll stones inside the park and sanctuary.
- Do not travel inside the protected forest area at night.
